  My family and I were visiting Mount Princeton Resort from Texas, and we decided one night we wanted to try one of the restaurants outside of the resort. We're from Houston, so even on Sunday nights - were used to places being open super late. We had so much trouble finding a place to eat that was open at 9pm. NO WHERE SERVED FOOD AFTER NINE. So we were kinda screwed. We saw the "open" sign at El Paraiso on at 9:10, so we went in and asked if they were open. They said "we just closed at 9 actually." We were prepared to leave and go find somewhere else, and the gentleman said they'd stay open and to come on in and enjoy a meal. They were NEVER pushy to get us to leave, we got great service, and the food was awesome. I shared the fajitas for two, and omg - they give you enough for at least 3 people. Maybe even four. I was shocked since when sharing for two, you still usually don't get a great portion. I definitely recommend this place!!

  Let me start by saying I do not have unreasonable standards when going to a US mexican restaurant. Unfortunately, El Paraiso disappointed anyway. Salsa was weak and lacking flavor. Soup was bland. Portions were almost comically small. Generally when I see two tiny enchiladas I'm expecting quality instead, but the entree was unremarkable. Prices were high for a meal that disappointed in both quantity and quality.

  We are visiting from Northern Colorado, and we had a great experience! The food was very good and the best part was our waiter Francisco! He was so nice and took great care of us! We will definitely come back the next time we are in Buena Vista! Give Francisco a raise he is awesome!!

  Menu price for kids menu is 5.50 I was charged 9.50 for all 3 kids item's. Happy hour I was told $5 margaritas in stead was charged $8 for both during happy hour. Food was ok but not great. $80 check for what should have been 40! Deeply dissapointed
